We Made the Product We Couldn't Find
Rivenne started with a fairly boring observation: almost every serious skincare product stops at the chin.
Retinol, peptides, hyaluronic acid — the ingredients with actual research behind them are aimed at the face. Below the jawline, the options thin out fast. Body lotion, mostly. Maybe something labelled "firming" that's the same lotion in a different bottle.
Meanwhile the neck, chest and hands get more sun than anywhere else on the body, have thinner skin than the face, and are the first places most women say they notice a change. They're also the areas nobody's really formulating for.
So we did.
Why below the jawline
Rivenne's Renewal Firming Cream isn't a face cream in a bigger jar. It's a retinol-led treatment built specifically for the neck, chest and hands — used sparingly, a few nights a week, the way an active ingredient is meant to be used.
We chose those three areas deliberately rather than claiming to be an all-over body cream. A treatment that does one job on the skin that shows most is more useful than a diluted version of the same thing spread across your whole body.
Why menopause
Because that's when most women notice it.
Declining estrogen is linked to a real, measurable drop in skin collagen — research puts it at up to 30% in the first five years after menopause, continuing at roughly 2% a year after that. What we won't do
The anti-aging category has a credibility problem, and it earned it honestly. Every woman we built this for has been sold to badly enough times to spot the patterns from a distance.
So, a few decisions we've made:
No before-and-after photos until we have real customer results, photographed in controlled conditions, with permission. The pinched-arm trick and the AI-generated "results" shot are the two most common lies in this category, and we're not adding to the pile.
No invented reviews, reviewer names, or review counts. Every review on this site is real or the space stays empty until it is.
No countdown timers, no fake scarcity, no "was" prices we've never actually sold at.
No claiming the cream restores lost collagen, removes excess skin, or does what a procedure does. It doesn't. There's a section on our product page that spells out exactly what it can't do, which is not a normal thing for a skincare brand to publish, and that's rather the point.
No "clinically proven" unless there's a finished-product study we can hand you.
Some of that costs us sales. We've decided that's the right trade.
Where we are now
We're new. We'd rather say that than pretend otherwise.
That means a small range, a founder reading the support inbox, and a genuine interest in what the first customers tell us — including the parts we won't enjoy hearing. It also means every review that appears on this site over the coming months will be one we actually earned.
